"While the cover song is a well-established form, the cover video is relatively unknown. Enter Nicolas Randall of Australian collective Family, who created this shot-by-shot homage to – and parody of – β€œAll I Need,” Mike Mills' seminal 1998 Air video, by transforming the original's heterosexual tale of a skatepark romance into the heartwarming story about two gay Australian rollerbladers who meet and fall in love." "All He Needs is a syrupy cupids love tale of two Australian rollerbladers. The film is both a parody and homage to the 1998 Mike Mills video for French pop group, Air. The cover song has never been released and was lovingly recorded purely to accompany the film by Melbourne musician Brian Fitzgerald under the name C-E2. All He Needs was the winner of the Insight 300 Seconds Film competition which has since toured the world, the film has also played at Film Festivals such as Resfest, the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Miami Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival. The Film's star's Kurt & Tom live in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. You can find out more about them and their passion for the world's No.1 boardwalk recreation at their homepage: http://www.geocities.com/bladersrock " (ref)

"All He Needs was created by Nicolas Randall from the directing collective Family based in Australia and London. The film used the kindness of many talented people who collaborated on the project. All are listed in the credits. It was made as both a parody & homage to the original clip for Air by Mike Mills and was specifically produced for the Insight 300 Competition in Australia. Thanks is extended to Mike Mills & Air for having a sense of humour to let this project happen online." (ref)
