How to...:Edit
From Videoville
Editing a wiki means, first and foremost, a lot of copying and pasting. That's the easiest way to take elements that are already in the right format, and then adapt their content.
For the full dope, wikipedia:How to edit a page explains how to, er, edit videoville pages. The editing toolbar has buttons which will help create links, add images, and format your entry.

links
Links are what a wiki is all about. The more useful links there are in an entry, the more its content "exists".
internal
Typing Michel Gondry will create a link to the Michel Gondry page on videoville - provided one exists: if it doesn't, it'll be a link to a new page named "Michel Gondry". (Please see here for information on adding pages to videoville.)
internal, renamed ("piped")
Typing my favourite director will link to the Michel Gondry page, but the link will be shown as my favourite director.
interwiki
If you want to link to a Wikipedia entry, or pages of certain other wikis, from a videoville page - a concept called Interwiki - follow this example:
Type wikipedia:Mark Romanek to link to Wikipedia's entry on Mark Romanek. The link will appear as wikipedia:Mark Romanek (unless you rename it - see above). Underscores (instead of spaces) aren't necessary for Wikipedia linking, but may be required for other wikis.
external, bare
Typing http://videos.antville.org will link to http://videos.antville.org.
external, named
Typing the mothership will link to videos.antville.org. but the link will be shown as the mothership.
