Talk:Interviews
From Videoville
Kev/Progosk: Are we getting into muddy waters reproducing these interviews? I've posted 4 and have a slew more but let me know.
- i'd say just keep it to links. also please try to keep page names concise. --Progosk 03:22, 29 January 2006 (EST)
- also: if we just keep them linked rather than full-text, do they deserve separate pages, or should they be # section son the director's page...? (again i'm inclined to think separate, but...) --Progosk 04:10, 29 January 2006 (EST)
- Yeah, this is a real tough one. I think if it's on the Internet already, we should link there. There may be an argument for non-current articles from treeware magazines that aren't available on the Internet anywhere, but overall I'd stay away from reproducing entire articles here. As much as I'd like that info to be up, articles are true commodities, while treatments aren't very marketable. Comments?
If they're just links, I don't see a strong need for individual pages? --Kevathens 07:46, 29 January 2006 (EST)
- you might be right, but a collective page doesn't hurt (same goes for treatments) - i'd say sit back and see whether peole use it over time. at worst it's a way to announce stright from the directory on the main page that there are interviews and treatments somewhere in here... sorry; to answer your question about individual pages for interviews: you're right, just links on the director's page (but keep the collective one) --Progosk 07:56, 29 January 2006 (EST)
- Oh yeah, I totally agree with this collective page. You drink too much last night, P? Kids keep you up? --Kevathens 08:01, 29 January 2006 (EST)
- yeah, f knows, i'm a rambling maaaan today... --Progosk 08:03, 29 January 2006 (EST)
