Matt Richards was born in Perth West Oz and grew up all over WA. He started putting on 50c plays in his garage at age 10. Started skating, filming and going to gigs at 15. Produced his first skate video with a hi-8 camera, VCR, Tandy mixer and portable tape deck, Worked as a cabinetmaker for a few years and then decided there was no option but to pursue that which he loved.

8 years later He continues to work across the board on all manner of projects, be it set building and lighting on features and Tele-movies to directing, producing and editing music videos. 6 years of soaking up underground music and culture via the internet have helped shape an ethos that drives his creative decisions.

Jeremy Rouse moved to Melbourne to begin the new millennium on the east coast. Having finished film school in Perth he decided that a more diverse city was an exciting alternative to where he had been for twenty years. Now having access to the vibrant film and musical climate unique to Melbourne, Jeremy has worked freelance for four years. Specializing in the camera department, his skills have seen him employed on features, mini series, music videos and commercials, as well as more free stuff than he can care to remember.

Trainwreck 20/20 came about out of the necessity for the pair to work on their own gigs; Fuelled in part by the pain of the bombardment of an all too easily-digestible, no-brainer pop culture. The pair decided it was time to invest their energies into projects of real artistic and creative merit. Guided by their incredibly good humor and artistic sensitivity, a few golden rules came forth. The first being that the pair would refuse to work on anything that they both would not themselves endorse. The second being that their path is a lifestyle choice and not a money making/fame grabbing gimmick..and the third..they will never, ever make an artist look fucking whack!....EVER.
